Cloud 9 Win The Universal Open Rocket League 2v2 Tournament

It’s no secret that Cloud 9 have talented players in many games across the world. However, it has been almost a year since the tier 1 eSports club has won a Rocket League tournament. Most of their past results have ended in runner up spots, fighting all the way through tournaments over multiple days only to get third or fourth place for a significant but small prize.
Last night this burden was lifted as Cloud 9 completed their 3 day onslaught across the Universal Open 2v2 bracket. The team proved themselves undefeated in the grand finals, challenged by a prodigy team named Girls but fighting for the win and taking the tournament down in game 7 of the bo7 series. Cashing out with a whopping $32,000 for first place, both the players and the Cloud 9 org will not be disappointed with this result.
